About the Promos

Currently, I only organize free book/story promotions for newsletter growth.

I run the same themes for my promos on both BookFunnel and Story Origin.
(Note, I keep the graphics and promo info separate in each listing out of respect for each of the promo sites and to avoid confusion. I’m sure they don’t want to advertise for each other. This is one of the few places you’ll see my promos from each site together. We won’t be chatting about BookFunnel promos on Story Origin and vice versa.)
January 2025 will be my last Story Origin promo. I enjoyed testing out what the platform had, and there are nice benefits there. I hope to return there in the future.

How I Help with the Promos

Sharing about each promo in promo sharing groups on Facebook to help build author interest.
Creating graphics for you to use. (We authors are pressed for time, so I want to make it simple for you! Besides, I enjoy tinkering with graphics. It’s something I do for fun. 😄 )
Ensuring that only those that share remain in the promo. (Newbies are welcome. Just please do your best to get clicks.)

Graphics

All of my promos have graphics folders with multiple cover (1000 x 340 px) and square (1080 x 1080 px) options.
Each promo site has its own folder to keep things from getting confusing.
Close to the beginning of the promo, I’ll add book covers to the designs for additional graphic options.

Removal from Promos

Non sharers will not be allowed to participate in my upcoming promos.
If there was an emergency, email me. Life happens.

You can pick a different share date. I will ask that a copy of the email with promo info in it be sent to me on the new share date.
Grace for newbies. We’ve all been there just starting out with little to no audience.

To avoid being blocked: forward me a copy of your newsletter with the promo listed in it if all the following apply.
- you’ve been in 3 or fewer promos and have a small list
- have shared the promo in your newsletter
- AND didn’t get any clicks

Emailing me doesn’t guarantee immunity or reinstatement.
